Consistent Use of Terms and Labels
What this criterion checks
Evaluates whether terminology and labels are used consistently throughout the application — across buttons, menus, titles, tooltips, system messages, and notifications. Assesses recurring UI patterns such as spacing, icons, and capitalization for consistency. Particular attention is paid to items with a selected state in the side menu and whether they match the corresponding information displayed in the main content area.
How it's assessed
The agent navigates through the application following realistic user journeys, capturing screenshots at each step. Using AI-powered vision analysis, it evaluates text consistency across the interface and checks whether different words are used for the same concept, whether the tone of voice varies across different sections and content types, and whether content tone differs between the main interface and error messages. It also checks whether technical terms appear without explanation, whether visual patterns are consistent, whether symbols and iconography are uniform, and whether system-oriented terms replace the user's natural language.
