What this criterion checks
Evaluates whether the visual design and styling are consistent across the entire platform — including color usage, typography, spacing, and component styling. Assesses whether buttons, inputs, and icons maintain uniform size, alignment, and interaction states. Screens and features that intentionally use a distinct color or layout to convey a different function are excluded from this assessment.
How it's assessed
The agent navigates through the application following realistic user journeys, capturing screenshots at each step. Using AI-powered vision analysis, it compares design elements across different sections and checks whether visual patterns are inconsistent within the system, whether primary colors are used inconsistently across the interface, whether button placement varies across modals or dialogs, and whether contextual menus use different layouts. It also evaluates whether a coherent design system is applied, whether symbols and iconography are consistent, whether images receive uniform visual treatments, and whether call-to-action button positions shift within multi-step processes.
