What this criterion checks
Evaluates whether the application responds quickly to user inputs — including clicking buttons, icons, and list items, loading pages, and opening modals. Assesses whether visual feedback is consistent across the system, whether loading indicators or skeleton screens are present and consistent, and whether the application responds immediately to performed actions. Visual choices unrelated to speed of response and background processes unrelated to responsiveness are excluded.
How it's assessed
The agent navigates through the application following realistic user journeys, capturing screenshots at each step. Using AI-powered vision analysis, it evaluates system responsiveness and checks whether feedback for user actions is provided within a reasonable time, whether progress indicators are shown when processes take longer to finish, and whether the system communicates that it is working during longer waits. It also checks whether feedback is provided when users interact with the system, whether feedback prevents users from repeating the same action multiple times, and whether immediate feedback is provided for interactive events.
