What this criterion checks
Evaluates whether users can complete tasks quickly with minimal effort — measured by the number of interactions required, the availability of shortcuts, and the accessibility of primary actions. Assesses whether repetitive actions exist that could be eliminated, whether additional context such as menus, tooltips, and descriptions is available to reduce effort, and whether primary actions are accessible without excessive scrolling or searching.
How it's assessed
The agent navigates through the application following realistic user journeys, capturing screenshots at each step. Using AI-powered vision analysis, it evaluates task efficiency and checks whether shortcuts or accelerators are provided for expert users, whether only one method is available to accomplish a task, and whether batch action capabilities exist for processing multiple items. It also checks whether less common features are progressively disclosed, whether reasonable defaults are provided for repetitive tasks, whether the system accommodates both novice and expert users, and whether macro functionality is available for automating repetitive tasks.
